Math Pre- and Post-Tests

TEAMS Mathematics Pre- and Post-Tests

TEAMS provides testing materials for every mathematics module. Check needed test materials and prepare prior to administering the test.

Overview:
	Using TEAMS assessment tools You will need QuickTime 6 or higher to view the videos at this site.

Administering Tests:
Allow students an adequate amount of time to complete items. Make sure they are clearly understanding directions.
	Administering pre and post-tests You will need QuickTime 6 or higher to view the videos at this site.

Test Materials:

Several materials are needed for students to complete this test.

Each student needs:

A set of Tangram shapes (7)

Linking cubes, 12 (any size)

Be sure to prepare students for taking pre-tests. Encourage them to do their best, but let them know the test is to let you know what to teach.

Test Format & Scoring:

Test items are designed in a variety of formats.

Students draw lines of symmetry, complete fill-in items and circle correct answers. (See figure 1.1 - 1.3)

They create 3-dimensional drawings, and describe their figures in writing.
