TEAMS Mathematics Pre- and Post-Tests

Grades 6-8, Number Concepts for Middle School

TEAMS provides testing materials for every mathematics module. It is important that students have the necessary materials to complete assessments successfully. Check needed test materials and prepare prior to administering the test.

Administering Tests:
Allow students an adequate amount of time to complete items. Make sure they are clearly understanding directions.

Be sure to prepare students for taking pre-tests. Encourage them to do their best, but let them know the test is to let you know what to teach.

Test items are designed in a variety of formats.

Students evaluate expressions.

 
They need to determine answers and explain their thinking or share their work.



Students circle correct responses.
