Day Fourteen

More flowers are opening. I can see some of them in the whorl that are just barely opening and it makes you think that if you sat and watched for a hour you could really see changes. I would like to take close-up photographs of the flowers changing the way I did with the seeds germinating. The buds open in less than a day with new buds forming at the same time.

There are no more true leaves growing on the plants. Most of the plants have three large true leaves and a tiny leaf higher on the plant. The true leaves are not getting higher above the soil and the plant is growing, so it looks like the growth is taking place above the true leaves. I would like to investigate this more specifically.

My kids and I pollinated the plants three times today.
