When my family was in Hong Kong, we lived in a tall building. I was about three when my dad told us the big news . . .
My dad's job was in Hong Kong, and one day his business partners that work at his company decided to send my dad to America to do some signing contract and doing some discussing work with others in America.
So, then when it was about three months later at night my dad came home. He told us that our whole family was going to America with him. I was really excited! I was jumping and laughing, but all along I didn't know for what!
The next day we went on an early flight at 6:30 am to California. I didn't know how long it took but I remember coloring in a Sesame Street coloring book and sleeping (By the time I woke up we arrived). We arrived to California, finally!!!
Then when it was about eight months later, my dad went back to Hong Kong. My mom, brother, sister, and I stayed in California, in a apartment near Santa Monica Beach.
When it was about a year, my dad came back and quit his old job and found a better job. Then we moved again. I was tired of moving so much be we moved to San Gabriel. I went to Roosevelt School since I was in kindergarten and moved when I was in second grade, again!!!
Well, now I live in Monterey Park, but my mom said that when we moved I always asked "How is it like?", they got really mad and annoyed (but I never remembered that I even asked that).
