The staff development program provides teachers with an overview of the
content and activities of the student programs as well as the strategies
and techniques needed to effectively implement them. Students become
inquirers of history by comparing and contrasting stories or accounts
about past events, people, places, or situations to their own lives.
Activities provide for the study of the ways human beings view themselves
in and over time. The topics include: Family Memories, School House
History, Past-time Fun, History Walks, and Living History.
